Wayne Brady will do a wonderful job and will wow them.
the tour will continue without him as he only signed on to do LA, and for any of you out there be sure to catch him.
The companies are in great shape.
How long is Brenda Braxton in the show? Who is playing Velma after her? Thanks.
Terra C Macleod.
please keep your negative comments to yourself as we all know here how you feel. Thank you.
Terra was contracted in July to go out on the tour in the fall, The Broadway company asked her to stay on in NYC until February.

Bronx, I believe I mentioned that on the first page of the thread.
Hi MV!!!! Long time no see, hon! How are you?
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
Sorry CJ
hmm I thought she was already gone. So we're still in the pit hole right now as far as CHICAGO goes. Well I guess well just keep our fingers crossed that she doesnt get extended again. Feb 15 will be a celebration for Broadways recovery from Terren!

Bronx, you know full well what her name is. Chicago is not in a pithole right now and you WERE asked quite nicely to keep your thoughts on her to yourself.
We know how you feel. You dont need to repeat it. Build a bridge and get over it.
And please, in the future, it's CJR.. not CJ.

Dame, I hope you're right. NONE of the recent Pantages shows (Mamma Mia, Hairspray, and Les Miz, which I saw there at full price, or Peter Pan, which I didn't see) have had 1/2 price tickets offered, even though there were plenty of empty seats. It would be great if the Pantages got on the Gold Star wagon!
So our thoughts only have to be kept to ourselves if they're negative, CJ . . . R! . . . ?

Im not saying that. Im saying that you've beaten it to death how you feel about Terra. At this point it's just rude and ridiculous.

Yeah. I just don't want anyone else to be cast under the awful spell of this unfortunate performer. I guess I have talked about it a lot. At least I stopped calling her bad names.

You could stop calling her awful and if you MUST refer to her you could call her her correct name and not some incarnation that you see fit.
By the way, there is a STAGE FULL of amazing performers in that show.... by telling people not to see Terra (even though I dont think she's awful) you're also telling them not to see an amazingly talented cast.
Just because you didnt like her, doesnt mean that everyone else will agree.
Take it from someone who's seen Chicago enough times to truly comment on this -- there have been far worse performers to grace that stage. (and no, that is not to at all imply that I think she's awful)

Hmmm I'm deeply considering seeing the play. It sounds great. I heard that Paige Davis was starring as Roxie. Does anyone know about that? I saw a tape of her rehearsing for it in New York and she was awsome.

She played Roxie on Broadway over the summer. She's actually a Chicago vet and understudied the role when she was first in the company. She was alright -- nothing to write home about. I've definitely seen better Roxies, but she had a few cute moments.
