Is Michelle DeJean still performing in it? We saw her a couple of years ago as Mona and she is fabulous. We spent some time with her at the picket line when the lights were out on Broadway and she is a very nice person. We will be going again in November and hope to see her.

Thanks!

Hasn't she been with it since it opened?

Thank you. I am looking forward to seeing it again.
She was out for awhile with an injury, then came back. Glad to hear she is still there.

Michelle Robinson has been there since the show opened, she started as a swing, and is still in the show now as Liz, and understudies Mama.g

I have an opening night playbill and Michelle Robinson isn't listed...I think the only female swing they had at the time was Mindy Cooper. But Robinson was probably hired very soon after they opened, when they realized that Nancy Hess as standby and Mindy Cooper as swing weren't going to be enough! Michelle Robinson is on the cd, and has probably performed the show with every cast.

Michelle DeJean is currently playing Mona on Broadway's Chicago.

Yes. She's there. MdJ was out for quite some time due to an operation, but she's back and kicking -- no pun intended. Just saw her Saturday, though she's been back with the company for a while now.

My Bad. Michelle Robinson, wasn't there when the show first opened. But she joined as a swing while they were still at the Richard Rodgers. And since the show has been on for so long, I would consider that being close to when they opened. So Michelle has been there for quite some time, and still has audiences cracking up with her Liz!

speaking of long runners in the show, am i the only one who wishes they'd give david warren gibson more to do than playing aaron the hunyak's attorney

You're quite behind. David left the show in December (or thereabouts)

November 23rd, to be exact.

And I always did wish they'd give him more to do!
