Hello. I am going up to New York on Sunday (hopefully) and I am (hopefully) seeing Chita's show. But I do have twoquestions.
1. Are tickets for her show available at TKTS?
2. Does she usually come to the stage door at matinees?
Any help is appreciated.
1) yes, half price
2) i believe Chita only performs two shows on Saturday. There is only one show on Sunday, so she should come out the stage door and sign.

She does do two shows Saturday, but I don't think she comes out between them. Wednesdays and Sundays are one show days 2pm and 3pm respectively, so perhaps you'll see her then.
Enjoy and good luck.
I heard that the stage door manager will take things to Chita for her to sign after matinees if she isn't coming out.

Chita will come out after the Sunday show, as it is the only show they do. She usually takes about an hour. There was still a crowd by the time Dirty Rotten had let out almost 45 minutes later.
After matinees, the stage door manager(s) take stuff up for her, relatively quickly after the show ends.
Yep, just listen to all the posters above. She does come out, but be prepared to wait a while.

There are no rush policies correct? Cause I am planning on going in and seeing it this saturday and was wondering if anybody had suggestions on the best approach to getting tickets, maybe box office or tkts?
Thanks guys

No rush tix, but your odds are good at TKTS. If that fails, there's always the box office. The show has only sold out sporadically.
edited to add: my mistake, then, about the rush tix. There were none when the show started.

There is rush for this show. I was told a couple of days ago they had it. It only costs $25, not 26.25

Really! I havent heard of any rush and was considering alternate options. Thanks, I guess I will stop by the box office first before anything. To see the legend herself, I'd pay whatever, especially to hear "Where you are"
