Don't think I saw this posted. Chita was on Tavis Smiley's PBS show earlier this week. Smiley interviewed Dame Lansbury a few weeks back as well.

Very enjoyable. By the way I am making it my mission to correct the mistake that is often repeated on these boards. When someone is knighted or given a dame hood, they are never ever referred to as Dame/Sir Surname. Always by their first name - Dame Angela, Dame Judi never ever Dame Dench or even Dame Judy, Sir Ian...

Or just leave out the "Dame/Sir" altogether. I hate the bowing down to silly titles to all these British stars - it lends them an air of superiority I resent. Probably because I'm not eligible to receive one, admittedly. They think they're better than me? They're not.

Except Dame Angela, of course, I will make her the one exception.

"Dame Cunt" is also perfectly acceptable under certain conditions.
