Chita Rivera, Tony Eligible?

I was just curious, since me and my friends were discussing it, as to wheter or not Chita Rivera is eligible for Best Actress in a Musical Tony? I'm not sure if her show is considered a new musical or a special event.

Anyone know?

I highly doubt she'd be eligible. Her show will be considered Special Event.

I think she has pretty much gotten the 'Special Event' Tony wrapped up.
