Is Kudisch definately cast in this yet or is it still just a rumor?

re: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets...

I also got my tickets for late May, 2005.

I have seen the show in London a number of times - and, while disappointed that Michael Ball is not reprising the Caractacus role, I am fond of the production and would like to refresh my memories.

If it is almost identical to the London staging ( which was done at one of London's largest theatres - about 2200 seats or so), I suggest not to get seats in the very front rows. I think the 6th to 12th rows are probably best in being close enough to the stage to see the actors clearly while appreciating the magic of CHITTY soaring into the skies re: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets...

For the sheer spectacle of seeing the CHITTY magic, I guess Dress Circle and Balcony will work as well.

I think the best tickets for CCBB should be in the mezzanine. I'm usually an orchestra girl but when it comes to this show, orchestra seats tend to spoil the effect. You see too many details (how the car is lifted etc).

I'm still waiting for more casting details before I go over-board and get the $100 tickets.

Hey, CHITTY flies re: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets...

I could not forget the first time I saw her soar into the skies at the Palladium - my heart lurched when she first lurched in her attempt to try her wings re: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets......Suspend your disbelief - and it is magic!

re: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets...

To everyone who saw Michael Ball-this girl is full of envy.

Man oh man I would love to see him in this show. I've heard stories upon stories of how wonderfully corny he was. What a doll. MNIL's icon makes me melt every time I see it!

I can't wait to see Chitty fly. It is magic! And I'll be willing to bet that Caractacus (whoever he may be played by) will not be the star of this show. It is truly the car.

Edit: Jo, I LOVE your post!

Yes, Jo, people in the mezz would thing she really flies but in the orchestra, that illusion is torn to pieces re: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets...

Oh, that's true, Emcee, there might be two big men joining the cast. Not too sure which one TGIF is waiting for but I'm waiting with Matt G for a hottie.

I'm guessing you mean Marc Kudish. I want to see Raúl. *sighs jealously* Not that I ever will anyway.

Does the name of this show evoke interesting imagery for anyone else? I don't know a thing about it, but 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' sounds... uh... yeah. Like something I wouldn't mind doing with someone who might be in the show.

re: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tickets...

Emcee, I know you want him too but you've just got to learn to share.

And isn't that what it sounds like? C'mon, tell me that 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' doesn't make anyone else think of that.

Oh, Emcee! You were thinking it too!
