I am going to NYC next Saturday. However, seeing as LB is a rush and ACL is a lottery I need to pick one because I would be wasting my money if a stood in line of LB and won at ACL.
Advice?
I REALLY want to see Mara Davi before she leaves and I could see LB this summer, but I don't want to be stuck with nothing if I didn't do LB and lost at ACL.
I did the lottery for A Chorus Line yesterday for the matinee and only 6 or 7 people showed up so we all got tickets. I don't know how it usually is, but the last time I had tried was back around December when it was very crowded.
Also, the rush is when the box office opens at 10am & lottery is 2 and a half hours before the show (11:30am for the matinee), so you would have plenty of time to try rush and if you don't get them go over and wait for the lottery.

I had never won a lottery in my life until I lottoed ACL- and it was for a friend so I didn't even need the ticket. That being said, if I can win ACL lotto, you can. The rush seats for Legally Blonde will probably be gone by that point, but if you end up not winning ACL lotto and there aren't any ticket options for you there, there is always the $36.50 partial view option at the Palace.
If neither of these work- see another show? There are lots of options, some great pieces out there, unless you've seen everything you want to see. Roundabout and MTC have student rush two hours prior to curtain if you wanted to check out 110 or LoveMusik. Just throwing some options out there.
