Hi gang,
I have 2 questions for you. First, does anyone know why Diana gets "What I did for Love"? I noticed that almost everyone gets there moment in the spotlight and she gets 1 and a half songs. First she gets "Nothing" and then half of the other. I was just wondering if there was any significance to her getting the lead for the song.
My other question deals with 39 Steps seating. I normally don't like when people buy seats and ask if they are any good, but I couldn't pass these up for only $59. I got Orchestra, Row A, seats 2-6. The guy at the box office assured me they are full view but if anyone has sat there or nearby I was just curious. I always see a picture of the guy in what looks like a box seat so just wanted to make sure nothing is obstructed.
Thanks everyone! As I always say: the best fans anywhere are Broadway fans!
I think it fits her personality--she's not a quitter. While everyone else bemoans the struggles of showbiz, she remains defiant in the face of adversity and remembers that it's all about...Love.

It was also a bit arbitrary. While Diana has the bulk of the song (she's joined in the bridge and final verse), there have been instances where others would take the bulk. When Loida Santos got pregnant, she began having vocal trouble, so if she wasn't able to sing (Or finish) the actress playing Maggie would take over.
You know what; that makes perfect sense My Oh My. She is very strong in that scene leading up to the song where she says " I don't want to hear how Broadway is dying out". That's a great point.
The one who says that isn't Diana. It's Bebe.
But you're right about Diana being the strong one. Actually, Bebe is quite gullible and caves in to the suggestion that "Broadway is dying." Diana is the one who says, "hey, we didn't get into this business in order to play it safe."
Right, it is Bebe. Thanks for the correction. As for Diana the line she says is so true. There is NO playing it safe going into theatre. So it looks like they just wanted the strong one to take the lead on the song.
Can anyone help with my seating question? Thanks in advance.
A-2 to A-6 is close, but you should be fine.
Thanks for the info verynewyorkcurious. I knew it was close but as long as they are full view everything should be fine. I only heard great things about this show! And I could use a good laugh. By the way, I love your avitar.
