Christene (Julie/Sandra) in POTO

For those of you who have seen both Sandra Joseph and Julie Hanson in Phantom, in your opinion, who is better? I saw Julie and she was excellent and has a lovely voice.

Julie. Her acting was amazing, as well as her singing. She sounds how the young and new opera singer is supposed to sound.

That's the only problem I have with POTO. To me, it's unbelievable if Christine looks like she's in her mid-thirties and sounds like she's been singing all of her life...

Definitely Julie. Sandra might have been sick when I saw her, but she totally overacted and Julie was simply fantastic.

i saw the matinee on july 17th and i'm confused about which i had... i thought julie was supposed to play the role at that time, but the one on stage looked a lot more like sandra... whichever one, she was still amazing!

zepka, Julie does Monday nights and Wednesday matinees, so you most likely saw Sandra, unless a standby was on for the day.

By the way, I got my Bryant Park pics back...some were of Phantom. They came out small! Damn disposables.

haven't seen julie, but i have seen sandra and marni. marni was MUCH better!
