I've had limited interaction with him (we jokingly told him his last movie was really bad and he gaves us our $10 which was hysterical when we declined but he insisted since he "makes too much anyway and it's you people that pay me). Friends that have worked with him all say he's a nice guy.
Just has some personal issues.

When I met him after a performance, he was not wearing his wedding band. They are in the process of a divorce, I believe.

It could even close earlier, given the chilly reception it received, coupled with weak box office totals. It is far from perfect, but it is better than most have said.
