After having a great visit in April, my partner and I have booked to return to NYC for Christmas.
Does anyone know what will have opened/be running then? I know about Fiddler On The Roof and Allegiance. Also hoping to see American In Paris, Gentleman's Guide and Something Rotten if they are still running. Had read about a revival of The Best Little Whorehouse, any idea when that will happen?
Also what are show performance schedules like during the week running up and following Christmas? From what I gather shows don't seem to on Christmas Eve but many perform on Christmas Day.

Regarding shows currently playing, Something Rotten and An American in Paris will 100% be around. Gentleman's Guide is a 50% chance to see if it could make it past Labor Day.
Welcome back to NYC! It's an addicting city.
If you google Playbill Broadway Christmas Schedule you'll see the past schedules for shows at that time. That whole week though, shows have alternative schedules to make up for the shows they miss on Christmas Eve and/or day.
Also, most shows (I believe) are selling through Christmas now so you can look at Telecharge or Ticketmaster to see what days and times they'll be on that week.
I think GGTLM will still be around. The first year for a show is iffy but at this point, I think it'll be around for at least 2-3 more years. Winning Best Musical certainly helps!
