Hey Guys -

So, I'm seeing YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN tonight (11.2Christopher Fitzgerald as 'Igor' and I'm super-stoked! I've had these tickets since August 17th, so yeah, I'm hoping everything's 'to-die-for', etc., etc. OoOkay, more importantly, I've been to the Hilton before (The Pirate Queen last April), but I can't seem to recall where the stage door's located. Also, as far as merch. goes... What's the program going for - $10, $20? And lastly, Christopher Fitzgerald: How tall is the man and is he coridal at the stage door (autograph and picture(s)?) I missed him when I went to see GUTENBERG! last March. David Turner, however, was FANTASTIC as 'Bud' ("Hellooooo Guuuuutenbeeeerg!") Yeah, my sister and I were both ROLLING the entire time! Aaaannyways... Any and all insight appreciated, as always. If I'm home at a decent hour, I'll pen a review. If not, I'll surely post one *sometime* Thursday!

Best to You,
- Mike Christopher Fitzgerald as 'Igor'

I can answer a few of these questions....

Christopher Fitzgerald was very nice at the stage door and signed and took pictures for all those who wanted them. The stage door is on 43rd street....You'll see the barricades.

The program was $10...which surprised me b/c I expected it to be more.

He is very sweet at the stage door and was happy to sign autographs, take pictures and talk. I'm about 5'7" and he was a bit shorter than I am.

When I saw the show, he didn't come out the stage door.

Neither did Roger or Sutton...

*sigh*

Was it a matinee, MovieGuy?

A genius performance and quite Tony worthy in my opinion.

Agreed, absolutely. I have never seen anyone do such things with his face before. It really shows that he is actor and a clown professionally (as I read on wikipedia about him).
He's giving probably the best performance of all actors in YF.

I saw YF last night and I absolutely agree with you re: his performance---just amazing! I LOVED his dance with Roger Bart!
His facial expressions, gestures, etc are award worthy.
I also loved Andrea Martin's performance.
In fact, I have to be honest----after reading some of the critiques both in the papers and on this board, I was not really looking forward to the show. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The beginning was a bit slow, but about 20 minutes into it, it seemed to pick up and I loved the rest.
Re: stage doors---
Megan Mullally just walked out of the front door of the theater about 20 minutes after the end of the performance.

I saw the show on Friday November 23 and Christopher was fantastic...stole every scene he was in. He better get a nomination.

saw the show last Saturday afternoon (won lottery). Christopher was incredible!! They all are incredible!! And Roger Bart in his first number: totally like Danny Kaye. I mean, he can really do tongue twisters!

I go to the stage door after the show. No one had come out before I got out so that was good, but I only got like 3 ensemble members' autographs and Fred Applegate's. No one else came out, which was sad. But it was a really cold day, so I totally understood that they would want to stay inside.

It was a great show though. Definately going to get a lot of acting nominations. Though, even though I love Sutton, I thought she wasn't that excited in her first number. but after that, she was great!

No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I'll ask:
Did anyone else get a bit car-sick watching "Roll in the Hay"?
I had to look at a chair after a while---altho' I thought it was a cute number (not that I watched the whole thing, unfortunately).

It was a Sunday matinee, and there was no evening performance...

I to loved the show, laughed my ass off. Christopher was absolutley fantastic. Totally wanted to congradulate him after the show on sunday (11/25). However, him and Sutton (no surprise) did not come out. Kinda of disappointing. However he was freakin fantastic.
