I would LOVE to see him on Broadway. Actually, to make it easier on myself, let's have him do out of town in Los Angeles and then transfer to Broadway. He is my favorite character actor and has produced some of my favorite roles.

He was attached to be the Grinch at the Pantages a few seasons back but then dropped out. I was very disappointed and have been holding my breath for him to return to stage.

What are your thoughts? What role would you like him to do?

"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999

I've always wished he'd do more stage work, but since his home burned down a few years back, he's been focusing on film an awful lot... Well, he always has, but now he's taking things like the Air Buddies movies and the Piranha reboots...

A couple of years ago, he starred in his hometown's regional production of Death of a Salesman, and seemed pretty darn amazing, based on this bit of rehearsal footage. When the plans for a Broadway revival came around, I was hoping he may be in contention, but we know how that turned out...

He was in the 1977 Broadway production of Kurt Weill and Dorothy Lane's HAPPY END as Bill Cracker. Unfortunately, he injured his leg during a rehearsal and Bob Gunton performed the role until Chris resumed it but with crutches. He performed "The Bilbao Song" on the Tony's also with crutches, finally throwing them away and standing on his feet at the end. Great performance from what I saw. Also in the cast were Tony Azito and Meryl Streep.

He was the best part of that horrific Camelot concert a few years back. The kid that played Tom was great too.

I saw him on Broadway in 'Mornings At Seven.' I remember he was good. The show was alright.
