Is anyone going to see her in Beauty and the Beast? I am really intrigued to see if she can pull it off. I’m not making any judgments, but she is following some great people....thoughts?

The 19-year-old actress has earned widespread popularity among teens and parents for her role as the meticulously perfect Ren Stevens on Disney Channel's Emmy-nominated "Even Stevens," and as the voice of "Kim Possible," the Disney Channel's Emmy-nominated primetime animated series about an ordinary teenager saving the world from evildoers. She has been selected by Rolling Stone as one of "five on the rise" of upcoming young female artists and by Variety as one of their "Top 10 Talents to Watch".

As a recording artist, Romano is featured singing the title song on Disney's new animated feature, "Teacher's Pet." She can also be heard on the "Kim Possible" soundtrack CD, and is featured in the "Circle of Life" video on the recent DVD release of The Lion King."

I, too, would be interested in seeing whether she can pull off the role. I dont' like her singing very much at all, and I think Disney on Broadway is trying to capitalize on her Disney Channel Fame.... While I don't see her lasting very long, successfully, perhaps I'll be proven wrong, in which case I would be thrilled...I just haven't seen anything spectacular come from her, yet.

I love her adorable voice in Parade. She is also a former Broadway Kid. I would love to her how she does as Belle. Thats a pretty big thing- Wouldn't you love to be 19 and land your first leading role on Broadway?

I thought she was really good in "Even Stevens" not annoying like Hilary Duff or any other tween actress that tries to sing. I think she has a great voice and I probably won't be able to see her perform, I think she'll do great.

She gets legitimacy points from me for her excellent work in Parade

She's a very professional actress for being so young and thats why I like her a lot. I would love to see her as Belle, but I'm not sure if I want to spend money again on Beauty and the Beast. I saw the OBC during previews about 10 years ago and I was very young, so it would almost be like seeing it for the first time, but then again Beauty and the Beast isnt top on my list.

I agree with Malory. I like her voice a lot, and on the "Even Stevens: Influenza" episode where they all sang, she stood out as the one with real theater training. I think she'll be fabulous, and I hope it's the start of a long career for her on Broadway.

She has got to be SO EXCITED. 19 years old, and performing on Broadway!

I've watched her on "Even Stevens" (my nieces love that show), but never thought much about her one way or the other.

I wish her luck --- or should I say "Break a Leg". Since I AM a "BATB" fan, I will probably see her in the show.
