Absolute crap!
This is an embarresment to the theate world.
Su Pollard and company plod thru one of the tackiest pantomime productions I have ever seen.
Stand out awfulness comes from the two guys playing the Ugly Sisters, a local DJ and a local playwright. You very rarely see people leave during a pantomime put 4 or 5 left in act 1 and we left in the interval and just returned fro the finale. Swansea deserves better than this. From the 50s right thru to the 80s Swansea Grand produced the best, the longest running, and the most successful pantomimes in the UK. They would play up to 14 weeks- this years doesn't deserve 14 days!
Avoid at all costs!

Mama, though I live near Swansea, I wasn't tempted to go see this even BEFORE reading your comments. LOL I shall certainly steer well clear now.

If anyone wants to see a really good production of Cinderella, I would recommend heading to the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich. I saw it two weeks ago (mainly because my best friend is in the cast!)and, though I am not really a fan of panto, I thought it was terrific.

Oh I know Nia Jermin, the girl who plays Cinderella. How did she fare? She was really good in the South Pacific tour.

Everything in life...is only for now.
