So, I'm going to be in FL for the last few months of this year for an internship. I was really hoping Cinderella would be in Orlando since it's in Tampa. But, it's not going to be in Orlando and i don't really feel like driving for an hour to see one show.
I'm only allowed to see 2 shows this May. One is Aladdin. But, I can't decide between Cinderella, and Peter and the Starcatcher that's coming at the same time. I REALLY want to see both and I'm hoping that Cinderella comes around next year to the National Theatre (whom hasn't announced their season yet), but I need to choose either Cinderella or Peter. I heard great things about Peter and I don't want to see some stunt pop star and the show is really not the same without Laura and Santino, but Cinderella does sound so "magical"?
Which one do you suggest? My gut feeling is really telling me Cinderella

Posted: 3/19/14 at 4:21amI loved Peter and the Starcatcher. Will only see Cinderella if I could snag tickets on TDF. And if Carly Rae is gone. And Fran Drescher too. But that's only my opinion.

Posted: 3/19/14 at 1:10pmI found Cinderella to be quite the enchanting experience. I could not have imagined just how wonderful it would be. I saw it shortly before Laura and Santino left. A friend of mine recently saw it with Carly's understudy and loved it.

Posted: 3/20/14 at 8:16pmHere's the thing about Peter and the Starcatcher... it is not a show for everyone, and you will either love it or hate it. I have never talked to anyone in between. It's VERY stylized. The humor is very Monty Python-esque. I personally do not find that type of humor funny at all (I HATED Spamalot). If that is your type of humor, you will probably like Peter and the Starcatcher. I personally was very frustrated with Peter and the Starcatcher and did not get all the hype. To each their own.

Posted: 3/20/14 at 10:32pmI didn't care for Spamalot, LOVED Peter and thought Cinderella's book was incredibly cheesy. So--with opinions all over the place, pick your poison.
