Most of the classrooms for the theater school were flooded from an overnight pipe bursting. Many double as dressing rooms for Island. Does anyone know if the theater was impacted?  It's technically above the classroom.

the show is actually dark on Thursdays now and didn't have a performance tonight.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Yeah, understood; they were off last night, too. But the ceilings have fallen and other damage has been determined. It's more of an open question about tomorrow and the weekend. The school is supposed to re-open after winter break on Monday, but with the classes flooded, it's a concern.  Just wondering how extensive the building damage is.

I’m not saying anything has happened; I’m happily out of the city this week and so I don’t know anything about the state of the theatre— I just have a practical question about insurance in a situation like this, if there were one. Would this be something the show’s insurance would pay for, if performances had to be cancelled? Or would it fall to the theatres insurance, or a combination fought out in court? I know shows usually have a deductible of 4 performances or so, before their insurance kicks in. But if destruction of a venue caused a production to close outright for either weeks, or permanently, who is ultimately on the hook and how does anyone decide how much for?
