WOW what a lineup! And may I be the first to say, "OMG PATTI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna get to see PATTI!!! (Oh, and Mandy, too...)"
Great season!
Is this playhouse in New York? on Broadway?
hmm... what's this message board.
Oh, shut up.
Is I Love You Because a tour or a regional production?
darling... someone is offended. I'll take it you are from Cleveland.
play nice, Mr. Actr97
This message board is far more than just Broadway. All of those shows have on or off-Broadway ties; hence on topic! I for one, enjoy hearing about all theatre. If this wasn't posted I would have no idea about I Love You Because.

I have been in the theaters that are Playhouse Square
What ever happened to the Allen Theater? Is it still with us?
The fact that I'm from Cleveland is irrelevant. I don't even live there anymore. I just find your post to be extremely obnoxious. People post national tour schedules on the main board all the time. It's time to take the stick out of your Ass, sweetheart.
Yes, Mr. Roxy, the Allen is still with us and houses shows regularly. All the theaters at Playhouse Square have been beautifully restored and are looking as grand as ever.
I enjoy sticks in my ass.
You don't?
Well, as you pointed out, it is a Broadway board.
There are plenty of tour threads on this board so I also believe it is appropriate.
All the shows love playing the Playhouse Sq. theaters, especially the crew. The only problem is that the theaters are barns; producers love to bring hot shows here so they can sit down for a spell and pack the house with all those fans sitting in double letter rows.
Great season! Cincinnati better pull off a similar season! They still have yet to announce, it's killing me!
I post Boston's shows here too.. I do appreciate people posting shows from other city or state bec. I wanted to know what's going on to their own Regional Theaters..
and btw... The Boston Board is my personal board bec. I always post my Boston's reviews there and not a lot of people post there...
so you'll see soo many Jaystarr's 10/ 10 Reports on...so and so....it barely moves...lol!

Thanks for posting the Cleveland schedule!
Buffalo announces Thursday night, so I'll be sure to post those too!
Hey...I've driven the 3 hours many times for much less! HAHA!
ENJOY THE SEASON!

I posted the schedule last year and had zero responses. Nice to see some Ohio people are on these boards. It looks like a good lineup but for some reason I'm not that excited.

I read this year's and last year's. I'd way rather read about this than the fourth installment of High School Musical. Are they done renovating the Hanna, yet?
Hanna renovations are well underway and it should open in the fall with Victoria Bussert's production of INTO THE WOODS for Great Lakes Theater Festival.
I am thrilled that I'll get to see A CHROUS LINE, FROST/NIXON, and PATTI/MANDY for the first time as well as possibly seeing RADIO CITY, SA, and MARY POPPINS again.
I don't know if I'm going to renew my subscription though because as it turns out individual seats purchased closer to the performance are better than the seats for season ticket holders.

I also grew up in Northeastern Ohio and I am very fond of the theaters in Playhouse square. I went twice this season with my aunt. I'm also looking forward to the grand reopening of the Hanna Theater in sept. Boy from Ohio the Cincinnati season is suppose to be announced the first week of May according to the local office here in Cincinnati for Broadway Across America.
That's strange, as a subscriber they told me mid-April. What's the hold up? Last year they announced on Easter. It better be worth the wait!

Vicky Bussert will do amazing things with Into The Woods. What a great way to open the renovated theatre!
