Clintons Saw CHICAGO-& this Really Happened

a few years back the Clintons were being interviewed together and Hillary Clinton revealed a story that had the then President "laughing in stitches."
They attended the Broadway revival of CHICAGO. During the section where the prelude starts to "ALL I CARE ABOUT IS LOVE," the Clintons were in the sixth row seats when President Clinton started to beam and laugh very loudly when hearing the ladies of the ensemble sing:

We Want Billllly, Where is Billy? B, I, Double L, Y....We're All hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.......................etc.......

The President whispered to Hillary: "should I stand up or something? Are they gonna hit me with a spotlight, should I say anything?" According to the first lady, she responded to the president, "noooo, shuuuuuuuuuuuush, just sit, let's see what happens."

Luckily, at the time President Clinton did not rise from his seat and bask in the glow of "We Want Billy." Of course, within about ninty seconds the Clintons realized the chorus was singing about a CHARACTER IN THE PLAY named Billy, and were not paying homage to the presence of the president in the audience,who also of course, was sometimes known as Billy.
I have heard the Clintons tell this story together, and they have each repeated it on seperate occasions. It is one of the Clintons' "favorite anecdotes" of his presidency.
I love it.
