There are rumors going around the internet that Wonderful Town is debating about posting a closing notice or not. They say that Fiddler has no plans on closing and that no information on Little Shop has been found yet. Just rumors, but I thought it'd be interesting to hear everyones reactions and opinions. Ya never know...

I heard a rumour that if I forwarded a certain e-mail to everyone in my address book, I'd get a tenth of Bill Gates' income.

I saw that rumor on a TV show! LOL
I heard that Kristin might be leaving WICKED!!
I heard through the grapevine that Assassins might close because of the RNC!
By the grapevine I mean my sisters roomates uncles hairstylist who bought a magazine at the same spot where stephen sondheim walks across the street and passes a hobo who overheard him and micahel cerveris talking about a revival of merrily we roll along and then screamed ASSASSINS IS CLOSING!!!!

I heard that Bobbi Boland is not, I repeat, NOT closing. Their ticket sales rocketed when they announced their closing and, in fact, one of the stagehands told me Kristin will come in to replace Farrah when she leaves.
Kristin can't replace Farrah - she's going to be replacing Ellen Burstyn in THE OLDEST LIVING CONFEDERATE WIDOW. I don't know where you get your information!

Rath, where have you been? She's playing Carrie.
I'm surprised Wonderful Town hasn't closed yet. It's a wonder it's still playing, considering the capacity at which it's playing.

Strong rumour: AIDA won't make it through the fall.
I heard that Joel Grey might be leaving WICKED!!!
DP, that's mean. *cries*
I heard that the cast of 42nd street is going to be told that they may not make it through the winter months soon.

I heard that the main reason Wonderful Town isn't closing is because the producers would have to pay for the lease on the theater either way, so they might as well keep the show going and make SOME money than make absolutely none at all. Which, I guess they are doing even at half houses. I would imagine that's the case with a number of struggling shows, or else I'm just misinformed about that aspect of the business side of things.
GFC you aren't funny.
I heard a rumor that Kristin's "snot-fling" will be broadcast nationally next year on the Tony Awards.
I have undeniable proof from a reliable source that Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy are going to trade roles in '42nd Street'
I heard that TABOO won't have a national tour but is instead going to open up for a Las Vegas run in which Boy George will be playing himself this time!!! I know this isn't about anything closing, but its a rumor.
That's very true, Priest. I've been to the rehearsals. And the big secret is they're bringing Jack Cassidy back from the dead to play the part of the girl who COMES BACK A STAR!!
