There are rumors going around the internet that Wonderful Town is debating about posting a closing notice or not. They say that Fiddler has no plans on closing and that no information on Little Shop has been found yet. Just rumors, but I thought it'd be interesting to hear everyones reactions and opinions. Ya never know...

By the grapevine I mean my sisters roomates uncles hairstylist who bought a magazine at the same spot where stephen sondheim walks across the street and passes a hobo who overheard him and micahel cerveris talking about a revival of merrily we roll along and then screamed ASSASSINS IS CLOSING!!!!

I heard that Bobbi Boland is not, I repeat, NOT closing. Their ticket sales rocketed when they announced their closing and, in fact, one of the stagehands told me Kristin will come in to replace Farrah when she leaves.

I'm surprised Wonderful Town hasn't closed yet. It's a wonder it's still playing, considering the capacity at which it's playing.

I heard that the main reason Wonderful Town isn't closing is because the producers would have to pay for the lease on the theater either way, so they might as well keep the show going and make SOME money than make absolutely none at all. Which, I guess they are doing even at half houses. I would imagine that's the case with a number of struggling shows, or else I'm just misinformed about that aspect of the business side of things.

I heard that TABOO won't have a national tour but is instead going to open up for a Las Vegas run in which Boy George will be playing himself this time!!! I know this isn't about anything closing, but its a rumor.
