Oh my gosh. The show was FANTASIC!
I have never laughed so much at a show in so long. I enjoyed every single second of the show. First of, Bob Martin is a genuis and hysterical. From the opening monolouge in the dark through most of the show, he had the audience in stiches. He honestly stole the show.
Sadly, Beth Leavel was out and in for her was Linda Griffin, who did a knock out job of being the Chaperone. Her "As We Stumble Along" wasnt as passionate and crazed as Beth's on the CD, but she did a bang up job acting wise and her voice was beautiful.
Sutton was fantastic. I've never seen her in anything live before, only recordings, but she has such a presence and was such a great little dancer, her "Show Off" moves were fantastic. And "Bride's Lament" was hysterical, I was dying. She has the pipes to do a amazing job and she did, she knocked out of the park.
Troy Briton Johnson was awesome. He has such an amazing stage presence and he played the character of Robert Martin to a tee. In his biography it said he played Corny Collins in Hairspray's national tour and it shows, he has a very- Cornyesque quality as Robert. Bravo in Accident Waiting to Happen- my favorite song from the show (besides I Do, I Do, In The Sky)
Danny Burstein is HYSTERICAL. Adolpho was such a character, I loved every scene he was in, especially when he says "Help me" to Janet upon becoming engaged to the Chaperone. And "I Am Adolpho" so hysterical. If DRS wasnt closing, he should have played Freddie.
The only other actors out were Garth Kravitz as Gangster #2, but Joey Sorge who played it did a hysterical job, along side Jason Kravitz. And since Joey Sorge usually plays the Super, the role of the Super was played by Jay Douglas, who was very funny in a tiny part, but still funny.
Geogria and Noble were fantastic, they had such amazing chemistry together and me laughing hysterically during the spit-take scene, was fanastic.
Rounding out the cast amazingness was Kecia Lewis- Evan who has such an amazing voice as Trixie, she should play Slyvia in All Shook Up, one day. Jennifer Smith as the ditzy but fantastic Kitty, who was hysterical at her "mind reading". Eddie Korbich was a fantastic tap dance man as Geogre, the best man, Geogre {sorry couldnt resist.} Lenny Wolpe was great as Feldzieg, he's such a crazy character to watch.
I throughly enjoyed this show, and afterward met:

Sutton, Geogria escaped the stage door to the dismay of many. I was sad, I wanted to meet Sutton, because I loved her in LITTLE WOMEN and THROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE cast recordings.
I took pictures but they won't be up till I arrive home.
