I went to see Legally Blonde with two friends of mine both of whom are not musical fans. We got student rush and were seats 102, 104 and 106 which were fantastic. Being front row is amazing, a bit close up obviously but still nice.
The show itself is still the show I love, the same wonderfully catchy music and the energetic performances I have grown to love. LBB was SO ON tonight, she sang and acted her little butt off like it was going out of style and I loved it, and I SWEAR, I do believe she hit THE NOTE, I was so proud of her. Her and Christian still are adorable and make me smile. Kate, Richard, Micheal were fantastic as usual. Orfeh and Andy were amazing as usual. Cara was on as Serena, which made me extremely happy, she was the only U/S on. I missed seeing Noah in the company and Bryce looks ALOT like Owen Wilson, so I can only imagine what it must have been like to see him as Emmett.
During the Dewey scene, Rufus kind of sneezed/spit on LBB and it was pretty funny. I was having a ball, when I go to Blonde, I just am in for the party. A few annoying auidence members behind me: A boy who kept telling his friend during intermission to guess where he was to which he'd responded: "The Palace Theater, New York, New York, Broadway. Watching Legally Blonde The Musical." Also these girls next to me were starring at me just enjoying the show.
My friends enjoyed it and bought t-shirts. The stage door was kind of dead due to the BRISK cold and wind: However: Micheal, Asmeret, Cara, Haven, Gaelen and... Laura Bell came out and signed and took pictures with everyone. Laura Bell came up to me and was like "You knew every word." and I was like "Yeah, I love this show, fifth time in a row." and Laura was all "Awww. Thats so sweet." I also told Micheal how I NEVER win his Myspace cast album contests. I wanted to tell Kate and Richard of my support for their NJ takeover, but they didnt come out.
Random comment--> These two British girls next to me had their mom/aunt, was being very wacky and fun, and they made my stage door experience. Also if the guy from the stage door tonight[you know who you are]is on here, send me a PM because we had alot of fun and you took some awesome pictures on my horrible ass digital camera.
Overall, still love BLONDE.
