Hey! college auditions are comming up soon....I'm a baritone, can sing tenor songs....anybody have some ideas for good repertoire for college auditions?
Here are a few:
Gethsemane (I only want to say) - Jesus Christ Superstar
Stars - Les Miserables
Corner of the Sky - Pippin
On the Right Track - Pippin
I'll Cover You - Rent
Keep in mind that, depending on the school, you may find yourself being asked to sing 16 to 32 bars from any given song you choose.

If you can sing tenor WELL, then....
Old Red Hills from Parade is absolutely breathtaking.
It's fairly high for a baritone, but I've heard a few baritone friends of mine sing it beautifully, so it can be done.
