Hi! I am a high school math teacher from Nj trying not to make a short story long: Years ago I had an obsessed Les Mis friend who insisted we take road trip to see Colm W perform in Toronto. Anyway, we met Colm outside after the show and he signed my playbill (and I have an awfully cheesy pic of us somewhere to "prove" this lol). Fast forward to last night- one of my students performed the role of Jean Valjean in the school production. He, and the whole cast actually, was truly amazing- I didn't expect it. I was so moved, impressed, and appreciative I thought maybe I would give my student the Playbill. But I want to be practical. If I'm giving away a $5 playbill or even a $50 Playbill I don't care--but if it's worth $50,000 (exaggeration, I know) I'd probably think twice LOL. I don't collect memorabilia (of any type) and don't know how to get an idea of what it's worth. Can anyone help / have idea? Here are some details:
- The signature is inside in blue ink on the page with his picture.
- the two women who played Cosette and Fantine also signed in black ink on the Les Mis page
-the edges of the black cover have some white wear marks and a corner has a crease.
