I did a search, but none of the posts that came up were very recent. I am planning on trying to get a rush ticket for CP on Sunday (for sunday evening). What has it been like lately? What time do you think I should get there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I did the rush several weeks ago. I got there at 9AM and got the last single ticket to the afternoon show. The evening show's tickets were sold faster than the afternoon's.
The line wasn't very organized. They don't have two separate lines for afternoon and evening shows and everyone just split whatever they want near the theater entrance. There were lots of people waited for 2~3 hours and couldn't get tickets. I'll say get there early, before 9AM.
When I got there a couple weeks ago (on a sunday) I got there at 6:30 and got one of the last evening tickets. I wouldnt go later then 7:30 but then that is still pushing your chances.

Fyi that's how most rush lines work on two show days- that's the way it is at Blonde, and was at Spring Awakening when I was last there, everyone is on one line.
Hey guys just bumping this up I was wondering if it was still needed to go at 7 in the morning on Saturdays to get rush tickets. It being cold now I was wondering how the line has been lately? Thanks for your help!!
while we're at it, how about weekdays?
This summer, I got there at 5am (front row) but there were 8 people in front of us.
Anyone else? I would really hate to go at 5am lol...I love Fantasia but not that much...
I'm going to try to rush tomorrow (Sunday) and I'm curious as well..I want to go to the evening show, would getting there around 6:30 am be ok or should I get there even earlier??
