I apologize if I didn't use the search feature for this but if anyone can answer I'de greately appreciate.

I just bought tickets to see "The Color Purple" (I know, check about the seats before you buy them but.. I don't mind where I'm sitting, just want to know how it is.) I am going Thursday, July 13th at 8:00 PM. Since I'm not familiar with the Broadway Theater, here's where my seats are:

Center Orchestra Row R, Seats 102-103

Are these okay? How's the view, etc.?

So will I be able to see facial expressions and all that?

Most of them use large facial expressions you should be able to see just fine.

You will be sitting in the 17th Row in the center.

It's probably a good seat. I sat in that area for Miss Saigon at the Broadway and it was fine.

I saw the show twice from the second row. My ticket stub says "C"

Unless they've changed the seating since I saw the show, or if the side orchestra seats are categorized differently, then I sat on front row "C"

If you sat on the side, that's different. The way the stage is shaped, they may not have B on the sides. Quite common.

Otherwise, you sat in the wrong row.

I saw the show in November then again a month later. Both times row C...second row. I doubt they changed it.

I plan to see it again and sit farther back. I was 4th row on the right. I bit too close for me. It is a big show and I think the seats you have will enable you to take it all in. Enjoy! Great music in this show!

I sat in C 114 on Wednesday and it was definitely the second row... maybe there is no B row on the sides, though?

and 102-103 is in the center section always.
