Coming to NYC from Vancouver!

Hi everyone...great gathering place for Broadway lovers...my wife and I are coming to NYC in late October for our 10th anniversary and I'm super stoked that I'll be able to hit both Mamet revivals (that is if they ever start selling tix!). Am also gonna hit Streamers (which I actually bought tix for)and would like also to see the following: A Man for All Seasons (hard to get tix for this one), Chicago, Boeing Boeing, The 39 Steps and one or two I'm wrestling with (perhaps In the Heights or Spring Awakening...). Oh, ya- probably Gypsy or South Pacific- the latter quite tough to obtain tix...I appreciate all the great ticket buying strategies and advice on here...thanks everyone! Last time I came to NYC was in the fall of '93 and I saw The Kentucky Cycle as well as both parts of Angels in America and the off B'way of Mamet's Oleana...cheers!

If you end up with an open slot, see August: Osage County. If you have been reading threads here, you will see it is highly recommended. I saw it last December. Fantastic play.

Yes to August (yet again). Great choices, although I would skip Chicago, and if it's between ITH and SA, I'd go with ITH.

I just checked the Roundabout site, and you can get tickets for A Man for all Seasons in October easily.

I also vote for August, and if you can get tickets, do see South Pacific. Hope you and your wife have a wonderful trip and congratulations to you both!
