When I did it a few months ago we went about an hour before curtain and had no problem. They only go on sale 2 hrs before curtain but I cant promise that they will still be left an hour before
The policy says they sell them two hours before curtain, although occasionally they will release them early. But let's face it, no matter what time you go, you're going to get seats. Hopefully the Tony will help, but they aren't just magically going to begin selling out.

Also, for some reason their rush is $10 more than everyone else's.
They need the money, lvsong!
I've heard stories about them selling the rush seats earlier than "2 hours before the show." I don't think this rush is difficult at all.
Sweeney's was the same price. Same producers.

they released them early this past Saturday...I can tell you that. My friend and I stopped by the box office at 5 on Saturday to check on rush for the night show and they sold us tickets right then and there...front row, dead center.

Twice I have gone earlier than 2 hours before curtain and twice they have given them to me.
