For those of you who saw both the curve Theatres production of finding neverland and the ART/Broadway production. Which one did you prefer? I'm listening to the music on the concept album and I just don't understand how anybody cannot like it. It may be a little to popish, but you can say the same thing about wicked and everybody loves wicked.
I loved Finding Neverland when I saw it on Broadway. However, your comment about EVERYONE loving Wicked... Not necessarily... I know I don't love it.
That's such a loaded question since even the BW final product was tweaked. Considering all the bruhaha with they tryout version starring Jeremy Jordan who in essence was sacked to bring on Matt Morrison on the BW run.
For those who say Jeremy wasn't ever guaranteed a BW run, (which is true), still it's not as if someone of Jeremy's caliber/BW standing wouldn't be reasonably expecting to continue the run on BW.
I can't compare the A.R.T. version with Bway because I haven't seen Bway, but from the song clips, they have definitely changed some musical things that I don't know the terms for -- are they key changes? Oh, and they knocked out three full songs from Cambridge and added new songs there; and they added a frame.
So while I'm interested in hearing comparisons to the Curve production, I'm also interested in hearing comparisons between Camb and Bway from people who have seen both. I'd be interested to hear music comparisons show to show.
