lol yes. The Lion King. I am so ashamed! lol He was in the LA cast at Pantages Theatre. I can't believe I recognized the name. I'm such a nerd.

Anywho, I can wait to see the guy playing Akash, he looks good for the part. hehe

it is amazing that you have seen him, such a young girl and all these theatre seen!!! well...just because me and my ex who saw "The Lion King" with me hated the show. It doesn't mean i will make fun of you, we all have different taste. I thought it was more of a circus than a musical,people seem to like that kind of shows, TLK is a success, Cirque De Soleil is huge, still i saw "Allegria" and passed out. So i hated it!

Sandra Allen doesn't look remotely Indian (I think she's Chinese), but I can totally see her playing the part, after seeing her in Flower Drum Song on B'way.

I wonder if they are making any changes to the show for the tour. I saw it both on broadway and in london and my one favorite song from london (like an eagle) was cut in the broadway version.

Pittsburgh is about 4 hours from DC, so I'm not sure if I'm going to make the trip for this show.

Well...whatever you decide Dottie...you know that I want you and WAT to see the show, and I think you should go just for the fact it will be absolutely you last chance. But I will see the show before you and I will make sure it's worth the drive. Probably it will. Sandra doesn't look Indian at all!!! but she does look fabulous though. Nothing that a good make up artist can't do I guess?

You're right...Sandra doesn't look Indian at all but she is perfect for the role of Rani. She plays sexy/diva well.

Too bad this production isn't coming anywhere near NYC.
