Hey I was just wondering... what concept albums are out there right now. The only one I know of is A Tale of Two Cities but I'm sure there are more. Thanks.
Oh and if you could include WHERE to get them that would be great, thanks.

I believe you are referring to demo recordings, not concept albums.
Usually, demos are not available commercially, unless they are released as promotional materials.
Bright Lights, Big City is a concept album

Are you asking about concept albums from the past or recordings of shows that haven't yet been commercially staged? Those are two different things with two different answers.

Both. I like hearing what shows were like before they hit the stage and new works that are coming up.
Aida has a concept album. I don't recommend it.
Aida's concept album is horrendous, while I like The Civil War better than the cast album. Some of my favorite concept albums include Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Chess. I used to buy the concept albums and demos of upcoming shows, but most of them really suck, so I stopped bothering.

Have you heard of "Drift" on the www.sh-k-boom.com website? I just recently got it. It was not what I expected. I don't really like it. I don't like the guy's voice at all.
I actually prefer the Jekyll & Hyde concept album to the cast album itself. This could be because I'm not such a big fan of J&H and the concept album has Carolee Carmello, but...
Ragtime has a great concept album and is readily avilable.
To Ourtime
There was no cast album of The Civil War only the concept album
Other concept albums were Evita & Jesus Christ Superstar
Tale of Two Cities is a concept album, the new Werewolf musical is a concept album.....

Sundown has been produced in a couple of regional theatres. It was recorded by a studio cast in 04 and was one of my favorite albums that year. I'm actually listening to the title track right now. It's about one of the famous old west shootouts.
Sundown
Sundown is a great CD
Arizona Morning is a great song
You're right. What I should have said was that I preferred the concept album of the Civil War to what was heard in the theater and in the local productions I've seen. It was one score that really benefitted from having performers from other genres.
I was forever turned off to demos by Night of the Hunter and Avenue X.
The Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita concept albums BLOW MY MIND!
They'll blow you too...away that is.
I'm somewhat considering getting the Evita concept album. I have long been convinced that I only loved Evita for Patti and I had a weird revelation the other day where I was like, "Wait. I like the MUSIC, too. Holy sh--"
And the JCS concept album is awesomely amazing.
Making Tracks from 2G productions. A rock musical about the plight of the Asians in San Francisco in the early 40's. There are a lot of good songs and the CD features Lea Salonga, Hoon Lee, Sharon Leal, and former Miss Saigon leading actors Joan Almedilla, Rona Figueroa, Michael K. Lee, Alex Lee Tano, and Welly Yang. "Picture Bride" is beautiful.

The other one is "Little Tramp, the Musical." It's about the life of Charlie Chaplin. The songs are quite good and also features Lea Salonga in the concept album. They had a very limited release of the concept album and it's now out of print. http://www.rockymusic.org/cds/little-tramp.html
The Civil War concept album is outstanding . We saw the show & throughly enjoyed it
I had a chance to buy The Little Tramp when it was out. I kick myself now that I did not.
There also was, a number of years ago, a concept album of a musical called " Der Fuehrer" . I was selling records at the time & made another bonheaded move by selling that
