Congratulations to Marc and the rest of the Broadway creative team which brought HAIRSPRAY to London!!

We would love it. It is up to the producers and the record companies, etc...

Have they spoken of it at all? Its one of the biggest hits London has had for years.

I really would love to hear Michael Ball on this album, he's so big over there, they can't NOT record it.

With £5m plus in the box office how can the producers not afford to put this amazing production on to CD. It would sell so well just on its wave of fantastic opening night reviews PLUS it would be Michael Balls first cast recording in years!

The pit band is the same there. Hopefully, like we did on Broadway, we could add some strings for the recording
The keys are different for Edna (the keys I am now instituting as a choice for all future stock and amateur productions), there are new choir things from many years of tweaking (since the Broadway Cast CD) and the band and ensemble there are top notch hip hip cheerio and all that rot
The cast and band there, to repeat myself, would make a fantastic CD.
And what's most exciting, there is going to be an actual performance of it tonight over there!! Imagine that!

I adore Michael Ball and HAIRSPRAY. Since I live in The States, I won't have a chance to see/hear him. I'd love to have it recorded

Congratz to Hairspay again! Congratz Marc! I do hope there's a OLC coming out as well! The West End producers are quite slow with their CDs aren't they? I mean LOTR is still not out, Take Flight is out after the show closed and Parade is now out after the show's closed as well. For one thing I know, the OLC is so greatly sung and it'd be so kick a$$ to listen to Johnnie Fiori on that CD!!!!

I am so thrilled that London fell in love with Hairspray !!! I was absolutely sure that would happen and had predicted it right after seeing the show on Broadway back in 2003 !!! It's so great, when a show we love so much, gets the recognition it deserves, from more and more people and countries !!! Once again, Thank You Marc, for brightening our lives with Hairspray !! Oh, and congrats on the award !!!
