Here's hoping I just jinxed you!
:runs off into the darkness cackling:
Ditto! I don't mean to get ruthless, but Grey Gardens should win.
This better work. :)
HAHAHAHA it didnt work! SA is amazing and deserved every award it got. Lea Michele is amazing. John Groff is amazing. John Gallager Jr. congrats on your tony you are amazing. The show is a true work of art and is far superior to grey gardens. Grey gardens is much like the movie the Queen, wins for the actresses is enough.
Damn. It's a shame this didn't work.

SA is amazing and deserved every award it got.
Yes, because it is the end-all be-all and has no faults whatsoever. It even deserved Best Book and choreography! It's just too bad it didn't win costumes like it should have.
/sarcasm
I'm (not) sorry but I just can't take anyone seriously who is totally blind to all faults a show may have just because they like it.
MovieGuy just to comment your sig I can't wait for June 26th too. It's my birthday.
Oh ashley don't forget that brilliant set! I mean, chairs and a painted stage, how revolutionary!
Now I'm sad it won because it will be even harder to get student rush. I mean, it was already bad enough!
I'm happy SA won - with such a young cast it was probably an amazing experience for all of them. Good way to start off a Broadway Career for alot of them...

All Grey Gardens fans need to chill. Your beloved Christine Ebersole won, as she should have; and Spring Awakening won Best Musical, as it should have. Grey Gardens is a fantastic show and should have won more Tonys than they did, but Spring Awakening is the best show this season.

BDavis- do you think it's possible some people might not agree with you, and that your word is not fact? I saw both. I was thoroughly disappointed with SA. And I'm not even contradicting the fact that it won. I'm contradicting the people that think it should have won everything and can't see the fact that, yes, it does have faults.

Does anyone know if AnnMarie Milazzo has anything to do with SA, or the producer was just thanking her for some random reason? Thanks.
ashley I picked GG for Book and Poppins or LB though i picked poppins for choreography. But I still think SA was great in both those catagorys. Im not upset about book cuz i hated GG though CE was great. And in no way is the design of the show or costumes good. Thats what may be so good about the show is that the writing is so good they dont need a big set.
How many did it win all together?
8.
boo SA
You know what I find funny, is that whenever a show has a lot of success everyone that hates it comes to this board and starts saying how much they hate it. They say that it wasn't great or never deserved to win. I honestly think that it probably was the best show though Grey Gardens is an amazing show as well....o well, I honestly feel bad for shows that didn't win any awards or even get nominations like Pirate Queen....sad...

8? Wow, it won more than LitP did in 2005. That makes me so, so, sad.
