Tomorrow (Thursday,) CHICAGO will become the 10th longest running show in Broadway history, bumping the original production of GREASE down to 11.
Finally, a top 10 show that deserves to be one of the longest running! Bravo!~
does it really? the material is worthy, but there have been so many crazy people running in and out of that show through the years it has almost become a joke...
but I love it. I just hate the movie. I'm content with my London revival cast. Ruthie Henshall rocks!

Congrats, Chicago!
I am finally seeing this in March on tour. I cannot wait.
yay!
CONGRAGULATIONS CHICAGO! My love affair with this show contnues and continues.....
Ya know what?
There have been a lot of crazy choices for roles in this show. But ya now what? It STILL holds up. I have seen the show with good performers and bad performers. I have seen really bad stock productions and touring companies in theaters that were much to big, but have always left satisfied. It's a testament to the material.
I'll raise a glass of pink fizzy champagne to "Chicago!"
I would bet money that it will continue rnning for a few more years and go on to break additional records.
Plus, it is the longest running revival I believe.
i saw it only once... when paige davis was on this summer... it was great! i'm still rooting for brenda braxton!
Actually Millie, "Oh, Calcutta" is the longest running revival (5th longest show of all time) at 5959 Performances. So, Chicago is getting there.

This show started stunt casting a long time ago, but it still keeps on strong. Congrats!

I just got back from the show tonight, a very good performance. Lots of people I'd never seen before (many new chorus boys, plus Tracy Shayne, who I'd not yet seen) in addition to some old favorites (Donna Marie Asbury as Velma, anyone named Michelle in the show, etc).
I was a bit surprised that there was no announcement of now being in the top 10 longest running shows, though.
Yeah..It is weird they have not made more of a bru-ha-ha.
