Posted: 5/6/09 at 12:23pmIt would be nice if they won. It was a sweet and lovely show. Maybe then the actors involved could move on to other projects and get some closure with this one. (That isn't meant to be snarky, but I feel like those kids need to move on. I think they've worked the [tos] angle down to the nub.) They may actually be irritating Tony voters at this point.

I think [tos] does honestly have a decent shot at winning best book. The book was one of the strongest parts of the production in my opinion and it was well written and quite original in comparison to some other productions in that so many of them are based off of concepts explored in other mediums. My fears are that Billy Elliot will win moreso because its Billy Elliot and will sweep almost everything.
