PBS should start their own sketch show, and use all the theater stars as guest hosts. Or better yet, make it a four-times-a-year special. They could do things like they do at the Gypsy of the Year and Easter Bonnet. Maybe it could be a pledge drive kind of thing.

I killed the boss, you don't think they're gonna fire me over a thing like that!!!!

Burn, WickedGeek!!

Jeremy Piven hosted recently - he's more famous that Kristin, but certainly no where near the level of fame I'd except from the SNL host. So there's hope.

When I saw the little box in the upper right corner of the screen., It just said "Could Kristin Chenoweth Host..." And I thought it was going to be The Tony's. SHe would be great hosting that, too.

One time, Patti LuPone punched me in the face...

It was awesome.

Could she host? Yes, and she'd do a fantastic job. Will she host anytime soon? No, not unless she decides to make a GOOD movie.

===========================================
Off the top of my head I can name Dane Cook, Rosie O'Donnell,
Lindsay Lohan, Laura Leighton, Nia Vardolas (sp?), Alan Cumming, who all hosted at times when they weren't household names. I'm sure someone else has some better examples.
===========================================

Yes, but Rosie O'Donnell was a nationally known standup and film actress, Nia Vardalos had just made the biggest comedy of the year and was on a publicity high, Alan Cumming was a well-known character actor at the height of his career, Laura Leighton was on Melrose Place, and Dane Cook was already a huge standup star, despite his handicap of never actually telling any jokes.

So, not exactly household names, to be sure, but better known than someone who's a supporting player in bad movies and was on the West Wing for one season.

Why would she want to? This show has fallen so much. Not one laugh in 90 minutes. NBC should just cancel it.

P.S. I AM SO SICK OF KRISTIN CHENOWETH!!

I'm not as impressed with Kristin as I used to be...

But anyway, I remember when she was in those Old Navy commercials, and everyone I knew absolutely hated her and even talked about wanting to punch her. Then I linked them to a clip of her singing "Glitter and be Gay" and that shut them up.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!
