I can see her as Elle, but hopefully she'll never be caught up in that. As for G(a)linda, does she have the range for it? I can see her vocally being compared to Jennifer Laura Thompson.

When I met her at the stage door during Gypsy's first week of previews, me and my friends all told her that she reminded us of a Glinda with her wig on. She was giggling and saying that she wantes to play Glinda so bad. She was also joking about wearing her June wig to the audition :) I think if she wasn't doing anything after her run in Gypsy and Wicked came around for her, she'd do it. Who wouldnt? a job is a job.

As for Elle, She definetly can knock this role out of the park. She would be amazing. The only thing is will Legally Blonde run long enough for her to be in it?

Personally I would like to see her do original roles and other things.

I've never seen her perform, but she certainly looks right for both of the parts.

Her over-the-top acting certainly suits both those parts very well . . .

what you consider to be "over the top" acting isn't neccessarily a display of her acting so much as a display of the character she is portraying. Her take on June is refreshing and new, despite any grievances you have against her.

I like her choices as June, but they're poorly executed. Her performance lacks emotional honesty and relies on shtick.

I would love to see her cast opposite Erin Davie in the proposed revival of SIDESHOW.
She would indeed make a great Elle.
I agree with Norn though, she is too talented to get stuck in a franchise.

I second that! I made that comment based on the fact that JLT has a different, beltier tone to her voice that I think Leigh Ann has. As far as Glindas go, JLT was a distinct and awesome Glinda!

I could also definately see her doing both (although I'm not sure if I'd be a fan of her in a franchaise as well!), but when I asked her she said she'd love to do a PLAY(s)!

Please god, Kate Reidners was awful as Glinda because she played it like June playing Glinda... if Larkin were to do it let's hope she starts from scratch.
