Hey all, I don’t know if anyone here has a ticket to Hamilton in the next few days, but I’d really like a Hamilton cup (like the kind you get when you buy drinks in the theater) and one of those gold star shirts. Unfortunately they’re practically impossible to get outside – shipping is horrendously overpriced or it’ll take too long (I’m visiting from outside of the country) – so I’m really hoping that someone could do me a favor and get them for me. I’ll pay in cash or venmo.
If you’ve got a Hamilton ticket, please please please contact me! Thanks!

Sorry, I'm not going in the next few days, but wanted to check where you're visiting from. If you're an Aussie then I could help you out in September. That way you'd only have to pay domestic shipping.
If you're in NYC right now you should be allowed to go inside after the show has ended if you explain to secur that you wish to buy merch. Cups are often left by seats, so just have a stroll around the orchestra to look for those.
Go to the cancellation line and ask them as those in front of the line have a high chance of getting in. A cocktail is around $15-$20 and a t-shirt is around $30-$35 I think.
I don't know if you'll still be there Tuesday, but I'm seeing it then (May 17th). I might be able to help. I'll message you.

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I’m gonna try asking someone at the front of the line today.

You also get the cup if you order a soda for $6.. so no need to pay someone to buy a cocktail

Soda was $7 this past Tuesday. A lady goes through the garbage after the show for cans to recycle and gives those souvenir cups to fans and the fans in turn give her a buck or two. Tee shirts are $30-$40
Does anyone have any updated info/experience about this? I live in NYC and want to get a shirt for my friend for her birthday this weekend, and I was wondering if I could just go into the theatre and buy one. Has anyone else tried this? If not, I'll just buy it online and do expedited shipping.

I’ve got great news for you: you can! I did manage to get my merch after all. Just wait outside the theater close to when the show ends (it’s about two and a half hours long). In the few minutes between the end of the bows and people starting to stream out, they’ll let you into the lobby to buy merch.

At the end of the show as the audience is leaving they allow people to go in and buy merch, I did it a few weeks ago. I would say save the shipping cost and go to the theater!

In case this is easier for you: Bloomingdale's sells Hamilton merch. Including some merch that is "Bloomingdale's Exclusive":

(ignore the purses and other stuff that comes up when you keyword search Hamilton.:))
Ahh thank you Anakela, that is an even better option, considering I won't have to wait outside the theatre until 10:30/11:30 p.m.
Thank you Anakela for that link! I had no idea Bloomingdales sold Hamilton merch!
Hopefully Bloomies will have a good 4th of July sale!

Thanks for that link! While I will be seeing the show I actually like some of that merchandise better, particularly when it says the year and/or NYC!

I was told by the guy at One Shubert Alley on Friday that the RR theatre no longer lets people in solely to purchase merch. Theatre Circle across from Phantom just got a new order of Hamilton logo t-shirts (black with the logo in gold, and the grey Schuyler sisters ones I think) this weekend, for $40.
Also, I went to Bloomingdale’s on 59th on Saturday. Was disappointed by the selection of merchandise they had, as they only had stuff from their own line and didn’t have anything that the theatre sells, like a normal logo shirt, or “Young Scrappy and Hungry” shirt. It was also super expensive/cheaply made and not worth it imo.

I love the peach tshirt on page 2 but it's only available in medium. I wonder if new sizes will come. I could wear a medium if it's a reg tshirt but it looks like girls cut. Thanks for the link!!!
