Just saw an ad stating to see it as it in previews even though it just opened.It looks like they will just keep running the same ad even though it no longer applies. No sense mentioning the reviews . Dates keep appearing on TDF so it's days appear to be numbered. To bad
^ It won't close early. it's an MTC production. Odds are, it just won't extend if it isn't selling well.
OK that sounds like what will happen.
It takes time to re-record voiceover and put quotes into the ad. Odds are it'll change this week, but they had spots ordered already.
It is dead man walking with the reviews it got. Why waste money on the ads?
Well that seems like a pretty dumb question considering you were just told the production wouldn't close early since it's MTC (a subscription house). So are you suggesting that the non-profit just not advertise and hope people randomly hear about the show or does it make more sense for them to run ads they have already budgeted for (pull quotes or not) so that some other people might come see it. Dumb.
