For the last time, I actually dislike Katie Clarke's singing. If my post history goes back far enough, you can see that I was extremely harsh on her vocal performance back when she was in LitP on Broadway, though she was better in the tour.

I agree that her singing was amateurish in Light in the Piazza on Broadway. Many people have said she improved by the time she joined the tour, but having just listened to her rendition of "Popular" on YouTube, I can still say with certainty that she is not a great singer. However, she is cute and is a good actress, and her voice is good enough to get by as long as she isn't singing semi-operatic stuff like Piazza. I hope she continues to find success in her career.
