No thanks. I'd prefer someone who can sing the score consistently and not just when she feels like it.

Landau directing musical comedy is particularly disconcerting. Anyone who saw her Bells are Ringing knows it's not her forte.

Trask, however, is familiar with the time period (and talented enough) to make it work. I've been longing for him to do another musical.

Does that mean Maureen McCormick is playing Cher, David Haselhoff is the step-brother, and Darlene Love is Dionne?
