Strange cats on 'ere reviewing stage doors. Anyone seen the show?
Directed by Ivo Van Hove with a cast including Whishaw, Okonedo and Hinds I was really interested in direction, performances and views of the play

I always see people taking pictures with Ben, Sophie, and Saorise on Instagram, but it doesn't look like the official stage door. Not sure if they usually stop and sign at another door, or if it is the official stage door or not. I'm curious as well.

Bfreak, Could the pictures you are seeing be the back door (on 49th) to the Walter Kerr? That is where I got a picture of Ben Stiller when I realized he wasn't coming out the stage door. He was extremely nice. BTW

Probably. They all say they are very nice and always stop. Maybe it's just more convenient for them to leave through that exit.

I was there last week and I think most of the cast (we were told not to wait any longer after Saoirse left as Ben and Sophie would not come out/sign) came out on 48th Street, next to the main entry. It was hard to miss as people start lining up there, otherwise you can always ask the ushers and I am sure they would advise.

I was there May 18. They did not come out the stage door, but the exit on 49th street. All were very nice, especially Ciaran. This guy had like 20 photos and other crap and he signed everyone of them.

Did everyone come out of that exit? And did any in particular mind it? Thanks.

All four leads. If they did, they didn't act like it. Ben took the longest. Almost an hour after the show got out. Originally, there was just two of us. The guy with all the crap he had signed, left before Sophie and Ben came out. Then it was me and a small group of Japanese tourists. All signed and everyone but Sophie took pictures. I caught her at the Tony luncheon and she let me take a picture then.

Seeing the show tonight and was wondering if anyone has had any recent luck at the stage door or 49th street exit? Not sure if I will wait but I might so I'm curious. Thanks.
I decided to try it out last week after seeing the show. Normally I'm not one to try to catch the actors going out an alternate exit, but I decided to try because of what I read on here. I'm glad I did because it was extremely successful. Almost the entire principal cast (Ronan, Okonedo, Whishaw, Hinds, Norton, Camp, and a few others) all came out that door, and seemed happy to stop and sign for the few people waiting. Ronan and Whishaw posed for pictures, but Sophie Okonedo politely declined to pose for a picture, only because she wasn't all too excited about her current appearance. She was very sweet though, and was happy to chat for a minute. Saoirse Ronan, Ben Whishaw and Ciarán Hinds were also particularly nice.

Thank you so much! If I do decide to wait, I will wait at the 49th street one.
Be aware, though, that the leads do sporadically decide to go to the regular stage-door every once in a while, so you might not catch all of them.

Right, that crossed my mind too. It's really a gamble whichever way you slice it. Again, I'm not so sure I'll even wait but I'll weigh my options when I decide.
