I was on Talking Broadway for the first time and noticed closing dates listed for a few shows such as Dames at Sea, Fun Home and Curious Incident. Dames at Sea hasn't even opened yet and Curious Incident and Fun Home are selling well. Are these just the days that the end of their ticket sales end and haven't released another block? Or do you think these shows are closing?

All those shows will close eventually, but you're probably right about the ticket block. However irresponsible it is for TB to do that.

Closing dates are not set for any of them.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Dames At Sea has been doing very well for only being open 2 weeks. I don't think it's going to close any time soon. I've heard wonderful reviews

I wonder how long (or short 
) it will take for Dames at Sea to recoup its initial investment
The thing is, besides being an utter toad of a human being, Riedel usually has the least knowledge of the topic in the room. He doesn't usually understand the content or approach of a show, and is always completely and unfailingly socially ignorant, which makes it really infuriating when Susan can't get a word in edgewise. A definitive mansplainer; it's always painful when he has female guests. I watch the show sporadically when I really want to see a guest, because it's the only theatre talkshow we have, but it would be so much better without this hateful clown in a dadcoat.
