Just wondering how's the current cast of Matilda? We're seeing it labor day weekend and I've been listening to the cd over and over (love it). Miss Trunchbull is amazing on the cd, as are Mr and Mrs Wormwood and of course the Matildas are all great (can't tell a different in the songs in the cd of who is who).
How is the current cast?
Are any of the originals still on Broadway?
The cast right now is:
Matilda (alternating performances) Tori Feinstein, Eliza Holland Madore Brooklyn Shuck and Fina Strazza
Miss Trunchbull: Christopher Sieber
Miss Honey: Alison Luff
Mr. Wormwood: Matt Harrington
Mrs. Wormwood: Lesli Margherita
Mrs. Phelps Karen Aldridge
The only original cast member is Lesli and she's actually leaving right around when you're going so it really just depends. It's a great show and I'm sure the cast will great for you as well!

Karen Aldridge is an original cast member.
Leading Actor Joined: 6/14/11
The four current Matildas are actually Mattea Conforti, Mimi Ryder, Alexandra Vachos, and Rileigh McDonald.
Swing Joined: 8/11/15
I believe Lesli, Matt, Allison are leaving Sept. 6. I'm not sure if Geoff is leaving along with them that day but I do know he is leaving.
As far as the kids, 7 out of the 12 current ensemble kids (possibly more) are leaving Aug. 30 6 of the 7 have titled roles (i.e. Lavender, Bruce, etc.) and the 1 is a swing. So if you're going Labor day weekend you will be basically seeing a new child ensemble cast and possibly some new principle adult cast.
If I were you I would get tickets for the Sept 6. show because it will be Lesli's last show who is apart of the OBC and I'm sure it will be one to remember.

Thanks for the replies. We are actually going Sat Sept 5th so looks like we'll see the original Mrs Wormwood. Cool.
It's probably good too that we are seeing the end of a current cast than the first performance of a new cast where they haven't performed it yet.
