Current MAMMA MIA! cast

How are they? I might be seeing it July 10th, so will the cast be different? Should I not waist my time with this show and go see something else? I havnt seen it before. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that Carolee Carmello will still be in as Donna by then, so if so, GO. When I saw it, she was definitely good. The other two supporting ladies are also quite good. The dads could bear to be a bit better, but their Sam was pretty adept at the role. The current Sophie has a nice voice, and while her acting isn't quite as good, she's perfectly good.

I'm not familiar with it, but I thought I read on hear that one of the ladys TOTALLY blew the roof off of the Winter Garden. IS that Carolee Carmello?

Sara Kramer is a pretty good Sophie, I saw her on the tour. I thought she was a little too quiet, just relying on the mic too much, but I liked her.

I saw it back in MArch and loved it I had the understudy for sophie and she was great

Carolee was so much fun at the stage door too

plus the guys in the cast are really hott

I thought Sara was an awful Sophie on tour. Bekah Nutt is so much better.

Yes, totally worth the trip to the Winter Garden! Carolee is wonderful and worth the price of admission.

And not that I'm knocking Mamma Mia (it's one of my favorite shows) - but think of it this way, Caroline-Q-or-TBoo - even talents need food on the table.

When I was last in NY a few weeks ago, I saw 6 shows and MM was by far the biggest dissapointment. I paid $100 per ticket to see people who looked like they were doing the show for the 4,000th time and couldn't have looked more bored. Although Carolee was on, I swear there were more understudies than normal listed players that night. I'm a huge fan of Carolee's, but she too looked bored and really didn't impress me at all. She may be too talented for this show, but for $100 she needs to not look bored.
Sara Kramer was actually the only bright light in the show. I thought she had a nice, strong belt on her.

I saw MM in December and HATED it! I don't get why it's so popular. I loved Carolee and the other two woman only b/c they're so talented but the show is AWFUL!

Aaron's definitely hot if anything. All the guys are very good-looking. Can't say too much about the girls in the ensemble though.
Carolee was fantastic. If anything, just go to watch this woman perform! She's such a joy to watch.

We saw MM 5 months ago and really enjoyed the show and thought Aaron's performance was outstanding - great voice, good moves and he just seemed really happy to be there. Didn't see ANY bored performances, but we plan to see it again next month and will report back.

i totally agree....sara kramer was just a disappointment on tour 2. when i later saw bekah nutt play the role, i was impressed
