OK, this topic has sort of a double question.
1. Does anyone have a picture of the curtain from Sweeney Todd?
2. What is your favorite curtain that you have seen in a Broadway show?
Hairspray is my favorite curtain on Broadway. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a close second.

Really? I thought there was a slashed piece of dark blue fabric.. I love the DRS curtain as well! The colors are so beautiful.
Rentboy: If I'm remembering correctly, there is a ripped up black (or dark) curtain before the show starts.
I love the HAirspray, Wicked, and Sweet CHarity curtains!
O yea, Wicked with the big map on it is cool if you have read the novel, but before I did, I didn't know what most of the places were.
Wicked
DRS
Sweeney(haven't seen it, btu sounds cool)

I liked Wicked's.
I kind of liked Les Miz's scrim.
Sweeney DOES have a curtain...it's one of my favorites
I also like the DRS, Spamalot, and I loved the La Cage curtain.
I vaguely remember it...but the curtain from Dance of the Vampire looked great, there were a lot of skulls I think, anyway it was visually fantastic. Also, Cats curtain with the cat eyes. haha Cats and Dance of the Vampire!

From what I've read in a review Sweeney's curtain is a dark "canvas" with slashes of different colors representing cuts from a razor. Have they changed that since previews?

if you see the sweeney todd curtain from the concert version back in 2001, that's a good one. i don't remember the curtain in the revival. all i remember is that it was black and once it came up was a little startled because laren molina was two inches away from me. didn't expect that one.

Eh, all it is is "Sweeney Todd" written all over it in a sloppy font. I didn't like it that much. I'm surprised no one said the curtain for "Phantom of the Opera". Well, it has over 100 tableau curtains which look amazing. The whole effect of the curtain descending and the side being pulled in is dizzying but cool.

It's a scrim, transparent. Not really a show curtain, exactly. You can see anything going on behind it. Sparkly with slashes.
I wonder if you all know that through the scrims - before they go up on the show as the cast is taking places onstage they can see you..
Can any of you refresh my memory on the la cage curtain. saw the show but have no memory of the curtain.
If we're picking shows that closed, I always thought the Aida curtain was gorgeous.
Right now, the Wicked curtain is cool. I also like the purple curtain at the Lyceum.
The beige and dusty one at the Booth is probably my least favorite.
