Does anyone know of a phone number where I can get through direct to the Box Office at the Al Hirschfield Theater? I have an urgent query about discount tickets which Telecharge.com can't answer - they have told me I will need to ask at the Box Office itself which, seeing as I am in the UK, is NOT very helpful!
The only 'Box Office' number I've found online is for Telecharge (212-539-6200). Surely there must be some way non-Natives and non-New Yorkers can phone up for this sort of information? :-/

Anyone? Anyone? Anyone at all? Bueller?
I'm kind of counting on there being a local number I can dial from the UK - I don't want to risk paying out $1000+ on airfares / hotel if the discount seats I want aren't available on the specific date I'm able to attend. I know it sounds a bit strange that I'm quibbling on paying out full price after my potential outlay, but I have my reasons. I know a few offers are only available directly from the box office, so I need to know for certain if they will apply on the date(s) I want to attend.
Telecharge were about as useful as a chocolate teapot - thank you very much, but how the heck do you expect someone hundreds or thousands of miles away to go to the Box Office to ask a simple question??

Thank you all for your replies, but as you may see in another thread I've stopped agonising and gone ahead and booked my trip back to NYC in June so I can see my beloved 'Curtains' one last time.
I'm sure I'll get a ticket by hook or by crook, even if it's three rows from the back of the Mezzanine (was sat there on Opening Night and it was actually a pretty good view).
Anyway, just to reiterate: I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

"about as useful as a chocolate teapot
That might be my new favorite phrase"
That is a good one - I'll have to remember it. Another one I like to use is "(fill in the blank) is as much good as a condom machine in the Vatican".

The Little Cheese: thank you for your humorous responses
I don't actually drink tea (can't stand it, despite being English) and I object to paying £4 for a coffee in Starbucks - especially now I've got to save up to fund this next trip, the favourable exchange rate notwithstanding.
