I did some searching both on this board and the internet in general and wasn't able to find anything, so I figured I'd ask. Any idea if and when Curtains will come to Broadway?
Thanks!

I was at the last performance on September 10th. After the curtain call, David Hyde Pierce and the company remained on stage to thank the LA audience for all the sold out shows (which is rare for LA since the theaters are so big), and Pierce said something like, "We hope we'll be back here next year for the Curtains national tour."
So if there's hopes of a tour, I'm sure there's hopes of a Broadway run. I suspect that with all the talk lately that there just aren't that many Broadway theaters with vacancies (ie The Pajama Game not transfering because it had no open theater to go to), it's just a matter of timing. But it got great reviews, audiences loved it, and it's Kander and Ebb, so I'm sure it will be on Broadway in a year or two.

So Margo, I am going to be in New York next March. Would you think my chances are good for catching the show?

I agree Margo,
Word that I've heard is that next/and or/ first show to close in town this season will be the next stop for Curtains.
Nothing definite, but, hey, Drowsy slipped in at almost the right time. (I don't quite yet see another Jersey Boys this season)
