A brilliant composer who wrote some wonderful and revolutionary pieces. He will be greatly missed.

I don't believe it! What a loss... It's even more eerie how some of us got to see him at his benefit concert at the beginning of this month. He will truly be missed.

This is very sad. My high school's production of SWEET CHARITY opened last night and it was very bizarre knowing we were opening one of his shows immeadiately after his passing. We all kind of felt we had been granted a weird honor almost. Our run has been dedicated to his rememberance.
Wow! I was listening to my cast recording of SEESAW when I heard the news! R.I.P., Sweet Cy.

In Cy's honor, I sat back and listened to City of Angels start to finish this afternoon. Cy Coleman was a gift to musical theatre and he is to be cherished and revered for years to come.
This is tragic news...Cy Coleman's music has left an indelible mark on the Broadway stage, and in the hearts of so many fans.
I hope PAB is right. The losses to the Broadway community in the last months have been astounding. And I pray that a certain idol of mine is spared for a few more years so that he can have his next new musical since Passion open on Broadway (i guess he'd better write it first)
Cy Coleman will be dearly missed.
Rest in Peace
