Our two tony winners for best actor/actress in a lead role. Anyone have an idea when they will return to the great white way?

Both seem intent on exploring other options right now. Leslie has just finished filming Murder on the Orient Express in London and of course released an album. His wife is also pregnant. Cynthia has I think 3 movies that she has yet to film.
I expect to see Leslie back before Cynthia.

La La Land, the stage musical. I'd rather Joshua Henry than Leslie but I'll take what I can if it means getting Cynthia singing The Audition Song.
I think Leslie would be good in an Obama play.

There were some rumblings a while back that Leslie (and Renee) were looking at retiring from the stage. I know Hamilton was super taxing physically, I don't blame him for taking a good long break. Especially considering he just became a dad, and is getting royalties from Hamilton.
I do think we'll see Leslie back in some capacity, but it'll definitely be on his terms and probably not anytime soon.
